About the Role

As a Senior Mechanical Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and providing technical guidance on complex mechanical projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure efficient project execution, cost control, and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities

>> Prepare detailed mechanical cost estimates and budget proposals for oil and gas projects.

>> Analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements to determine scope.

>> Provide technical leadership on plant maintenance, heat exchanger management, catalyst replacement, and mechanical modifications.

>> Collaborate with project teams to optimize processes, materials, and labor allocation.

>> Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for mechanical operations.

>> Support vendor selection, equipment specifications, and technical evaluation.

>> Maintain and improve estimation tools and methodologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

>> Monitor market trends and provide insights for cost optimization and project efficiency.

Qualifications

>> Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

>> Minimum 10 years of mechanical estimation experience in oil and gas projects.

>> Experience in greenfield, brownfield, and plant turnaround operations.

>> Strong knowledge of heat exchanger systems, catalyst management, and mechanical design principles.

>> Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

>> Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

>> Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
