About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Government Compliance Manager to serve as the primary liaison between VARA and key government bodies. This role focuses on stakeholder engagement, regulatory alignment, and ensuring compliance across Dubai’s dynamic virtual asset ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
>> Engage with regulatory authorities including SCA, CBUAE, ESCD, DFSA, and FSRA.
>> Coordinate inputs and guidance to align VARA policies with governmental objectives.
>> Maintain strategic relationships with Dubai commercial licensing authorities.
>> Facilitate seamless information exchange and ensure VARA policies are implemented effectively.
>> Prepare and respond to government communications and regulatory inquiries.
>> Monitor AML/CFT mitigation actions and ensure alignment with FATF requirements.
>> Track compliance progress and maintain comprehensive regulatory records.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
>> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, International Relations, or Business Administration.
>> 3–5 years’ experience in UAE governance, regulatory frameworks, or administrative processes.
>> Deep understanding of UAE financial services regulations and virtual assets.
Skills & Competencies:
>> Exceptional stakeholder management and networking skills.
>> Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
>> Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
>> Knowledge of UAE legal principles, compliance standards, and project management.
