Water Treatment Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Treatment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our water and wastewater treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain water treatment and wastewater treatment plants and equipment
Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance on treatment systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with water treatment equipment
Assist in project execution and implementation of new water treatment solutions
Perform water quality tests and maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
Participate in the installation and commissioning of new water treatment systems
Assist in the operation and maintenance of various water treatment technologies, including:
o Desalination systems (SWRO and BWRO)
o Containerized water treatment solutions
o Demineralizer systems
o Pump skid assemblies
Support the company’s O&M services, including maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment of water treatment plants

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum qualification: 12th+ or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant & Equipment Operations
Strong local GCC experience is highly valued

In-depth knowledge of water treatment systems and processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
 Experience in project execution and implementation
 Good oral English language skills
 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
 Familiarity with water quality testing procedures and equipment
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
